johnny boy68 11,726
Went for a walk this morning...my 11 year old step-daughter(Caitlin)as been asking if she can tag along for a little while now,her mother says you can't take her she won't keep quiet, won't keep still etc...I was only going out to try one of my new jills so i thought i'd take her along,if anything would test somebodys liking of a bit of ferreting then going out in this weather would.Well the Lurcher found a 2 holer and proceeded to mark Put the ferret in,a few minutes passed, bang rabbit in the net! Before me or the dog could grab it Caitlin was on it in a flash.I was well chuffed her and the ferret stepped up Had another mark up the banking ferret in,same result Snow was a bit to deep to go any further so called it a day...not a bad outcome i now have a new apprentice and another ferret that is showing good signs yis John
