I quite agree when tightly bred dogs are all 'good' then there is no problem but when bad qualities are double bred into them then things will deteriorate rapidly IMO. The kizzy line is now starting to hit that troubled point mainly thanks to the peddlers rather than the coursing circles.

He gets better everytime you post him up mate , his condition speaks volumes of the time and effort you have obviously put into rearing him , I have no time for 'dogshows' of any type, but that is the sort of dog that should win them one things for sure I bet you had a sod of a job sorting his feet and feathers out last week when the snow was down

saw a real lot of saluks coursing ones, show types ,in the states , as they have the land and the laws to hunt them ,several were not good for pot filling but there were a few hardcore coursing hunting gals and guys who hunted ,ran them on anything, they had afew ,i would have took home ,could kill ajack rabbit , and give other qaurry a hard time , got a real album full of them show types and coursing types who one the grand course against running dogs lurchers they were very good dogs ,the only way to get good saluks is work them hard on whatever they can catch then ,breed if they are up to the job in hand, to many breeding for money coulor and well some are breeding of failed workers etc .the demise of any breed is tobreed of non treid stock

correct its just a shame we cant use our dogs to there full potensiall ,....legally in the uk

ye getting more difficult as they are trying to get brother against brother ,if i had new how tite the were getting 3 or more years a go i wouldd had bought a holiday home over there and stayed my winters there ,and 8 months here and work hard ,this country realy has to rise and demonstrate how much money we will pay to get our way of life back ,its going take money and lots of meetings and unity ,as they are trying to separate ,always liked saluks got a lady bird book maybe forty years old and its got a saluki with an egyptain on the front page ,
