I think that this breed is miss understood, I made the mistake of treating him like a normal lurcher, the odd shout and a tap of the news paper when he was noisy, it dont work that way with these lads, but should I ever take another one on I will take a different approach. jigsaw 11,891 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 heres my lady,i have feck all done with her,shes just hit 14 months old,ive gone out 11 different days nd cant manage a run on a hare yet for her,cant find the bloody things even though i get told theyre here and there but i cant find them for some reason.Shes taken a half dozen rabbits and retrieved all very close to hand. nicksringo 5 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 well nice saluki you got there pale,looks a real corker,some of them can be real pig headed and dont pay to shout at them ,had a full saluki bitch that on the return after game would stand in the middle of the field and watch you, learnt that once the van door was open she would come straight to you.
