Recommended Posts

does size matter for daytime hares or rather did it matter pre ban heard it said often its a good little dog/bitch but not really big enough for hares daytime my way is if their good enough their big enough seen plenty of little uns with the heart of a giant and biguns that wasnt worth a light and seen quite a few little uns do 3 out of 3 on the fens so what do the rest of you think my ideal would be 25 ins tts but my present oneis smaller than this .

My father-in-law had a 21-22" bitch in the 80`s that killed 32/33 hares in Jan and feb 1 year. He isnt a betting man did it just for sport, her name was "Shoefly"

My nephew just bought a very good daytime bitch that is aprox 22"

So its not all about size.

MY DOG IS 29tts HAD SOME RUNS ON RABBIT BUT MAINLY ON LONG EARS ONLY CAUGHT A FEW (long ears are supreme runners to me).BUT HAD SOME GOOD RUNS,JUST LOVE TO SEE MY DOG WORK/RUN.IF THERE IS AN END RESULT BRILLIANT IF NOT MY DAY/NIGHT IS NOT RUINED,AND TO ME MY DOG HAS TRIED HIS HARDEST AND I AM WELL PLEASED.SO DOES SIZE MATTER TO ME NO(EVEN IF HE WAS 31tts) ATB EVERYONE.
