shepp 2,285
I tried my hand at wine making for the first time this year and made sloe wine. Bottled it last week and me and my mate shared a bottle, tasted really good, quite dry so kept you going back for more. I think it will go especially well with venison or lamb. My mate made elder berry wine and if anything that was better, very rich and smooth. I was so impressed that i got parsnip wine fermenting in the demi-john now, which holds 6 bottles. I would say to anybody give country wines a go, it's not difficult, tastes great and costs less than £1.00 a bottle to produce. The website with the recipies i used is below. http://www.brew-magic.co.uk/Wine_recipes/Sloe_Wine.aspx Shepp
