BASC told me to get the HW77 chronometer tested ,[bANNED TEXT] taking the rifle to UK from Portugal,to ensure it`s power is 12ft/lb or less.Errm, roger so far,just on european web sites i`m getting power levels shown as 755ft/sec , or 230(I think this is in m/sec). So, does anyone know what this is in ft/lb. My HW77 is a .22 cal and it`s brand new.Ta

Hi, mate.

 

The full power 77 should give you about 18 ft-lbs. The only difference is the UK spec guns have a weaker spring, so you'll need to fit one. Easy DIY job on those.

think in .22 the top ft lb is 625fps and 850 in .177 but depends on what weight the pellet is sounds as if urs is over get the spring changed

Or just take the spring out of the gun and bring that over and put another in it when your here? Or post the gun and spring seperatly....SNEEKY:)
