Guest Anubis
save your money bud and put the miles in on the road. This time of year our dogs should get all the exercise they need from working in the fields. Quote Link to post

gerry81 1
yes the snow a pain but i dont see why it stops ppl walking there dogs just stay away from ice and walk them in big parks on lead ofcourse but sooner it al away the better Quote Link to post
Top Lamper 2k10 169
but you can still get ya dogs more fit than walking them Quote Link to post
wexford Pa 84
Ive got 1 mate n i can tell u it give dogs untold stamina n gives em good conditioning.. Of course u should give ur dogs some free runnin to stretch n turn but theres no harm in using the walker to get ur dog fit.. I always bring my dogs out for a decent walk 1st then the dogs that need somethin extra id put on the walker while im gettin the grub ready.. Quote Link to post
iceman001979 1,316
Treadmill is handy till have if yea cant get the dogs out but if yea can then it should be locked away. If any 1 trains them selfs on here the will know the diff for running on a treadmill till running on a road a treadmill does all the work while on a road yea have till use your legs push off the road your leg mustles have to work harded then on a treadmill the same goes for a dog. The best thing is a bike or get the dog till run alongside the car not too fast because off there pads and that but treadmills are handy till have incase off weather like this and injurys.
