BellySlater 15
Right then guys, don't know about the rest of you but I am having a mare in this snow. My deaf grandmother could hear my size 12's as they CRUNCH through the snow. I don't even get to see the rabbits run away, they've been gone that long by the time I get there they've probably had a shag and are having a smoke or lying in the bath ! Any tips ? I find it a little to cold to sit and wait so i'm on the move. I've even resorted to wearing one of those white disposable over suit type things So i'm looking a right tit AND blanking :wallbash: Maybe i'll wait for the thaw :drink: Quote Link to post

othickman 6
If the aim of your permission is to wipe the rabbit population out, then the snow is doing it quite well. And other than sitting tight with your rifle ready to 'snipe' them, I would say have a look at the tracks around your permission so you can find out which runs are most populated so you have a better idea which ones to go at more after the thaw. G'luck. Quote Link to post
