Right then guys, don't know about the rest of you but I am having a mare in this snow. My deaf grandmother could hear my size 12's as they CRUNCH through the snow. I don't even get to see the rabbits run away, they've been gone that long by the time I get there they've probably had a shag and are having a smoke or lying in the bath !

Any tips ? I find it a little to cold to sit and wait so i'm on the move. I've even resorted to wearing one of those white disposable over suit type things :icon_redface: So i'm looking a right tit AND blanking :wallbash: :wallbash:

Maybe i'll wait for the thaw :drink: :drink:

i know what your saying pal but seems to me the only productive way,on my permission anyway,is to get in cover and sit tight, but yeah fecking freezing, only had a few bits and pieces myself and as the freezer looking bare had to take the shotty out, more productive but hardly any fieldcraft required

If the aim of your permission is to wipe the rabbit population out, then the snow is doing it quite well. And other than sitting tight with your rifle ready to 'snipe' them, I would say have a look at the tracks around your permission so you can find out which runs are most populated so you have a better idea which ones to go at more after the thaw. :) G'luck.
