supersam 64
well myself and the bro headed out tonight as we have not been out due to the big freeze we had.. the rain was bucketing down and we didn't stay out long 45mins max.. the dogs had a pair of rabbits each and as we were heading back to the van we spotted a fox and i started to call him in.. we don't usually go for foxes actually my black lurcher has only been slipped on about 3-4 but never connected and my pup has never even seen one till now.. anyways the fox came in at quite a rate and when it was about 20yrds away we slipped both dogs not really sure what was going to happen.. my black lurcher made a strike but the fox turned and he missed.. the fox got about a further 30yrds and the pup picked him by the arse he got bit but he never backed down and then my black lurcher was on and he got a few bites before he transferred to the neck and killed it quickly... am delighted with my pup as he has never even seen one before and was very keen and my black dog well he is a bit crazy anyway lol.. 1st of many im sure.
