Thats an impressive bag of goodies. :clapper:

 

Were they all head shots? Or is that particular air rifle able for chest shots aswell?

Head and neck shots out to about 40yds.His average shot was around the 30yd mark ;) That or any other tunned .177 air rifle near the legal limit of 12ft lbs will kill rabbits and hares out to 40yds through the head neck or chest as long as the shot placement is good :yes:

i have always shot with a 22 air rifle until i had a go with that hw77, cracking gun , i got meself a hw 97 k in 177 a few weeks after using peggys gun

That's a good do out considering your youngen was using an old springer.. :tongue2::D ..

Tell him to keep at it as he seem's a natural.. :good: .

Yes hes a good shot for his age but he has had plenty practice.Taking him to a really good rabbit spot on saturday,will see how he gets on then.Thanks........P@G ;)
