looking for a terrier

I agree a whippet cross terrier or something like a colllie x whippet would be ideal. If you did go for a terrier a Russell or as someone else advised a Pat x Russell as they always seem to turn out good little all rounders. I have an old bitch here and she was mustard at hunting/bushing everything in her day, in fact she is still a pain (in a good way) if she gets on a scent whilst Im out exercising her!!....shes 16!!

good advice for the lad. personally i would go for beddy/whippet. seen some belters over the years ferreting. good find/catch and mark dogs. good luck.sorry just looked at the post start date. :icon_redface:

i respect what your saying Steve s yorks but wouldnt a bedlington be [bANNED TEXT] for what the lad wants surely a bedlington couldnt get down a rabbit hole or atleast the ones i have seen have been quite big ? dont get me rong i could be compleatly rong atb T.C

beddies not a bit pricey for the job?
