how much to build a decent kennel

Recommended Posts

at moment mine arein 10x8 with a seperate 10x6 run, thinking about knocking these down in a few months

and either building in breeze block or useing wooden sheds

i want two 10x8 building with the fronts galvinised, anyone got any kennels built in breeze or rough price

The dearest part iv found is the the floor,

Getting that concreted and good drains put in is the bit that costs ££,

I think everything eles can be begged browed or stole,

I think if you shop about abit and buying in bulk always helps bring the cost down..

Atb with em

the shed is 20x10ft with 3 runs inside and the outside runs are just under 7ft wide and 16ft long...

i done all the work myself and i think if you were to pay for something like this in full then id say it would cost about € 3000 plus labour.

i have built a few block kennels for my mates and even though you get a few things cheap by the time everything ads up it works out expensive, but worth it if its done right.

alright mate i built mine about two year ago now row of blocks 3 high mesh you get the idea it wasnt a whole lot to build

2 sheets mesh €36

money for blocks cement sand not very dear as supplier lives down the road

angle irons to hold mesh FREE

galvanised roof for kennel FREE

so altogether it cost about 150-200 to build and roughly its about 10 x 3 and is plenty big for my two dogs
