danebrewer10 6
I would choose a Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 or the Swarovski 3-12x50, expensive, yes, but IMO the best you can buy I have a S&B 6x42 and it's just amazing, the light transmission and clarity, sharpness.... European glass is the way to go... DB Quote Link to post

SNAP SHOT 194
you should be about 2 inches or so low at 200 depending on the rounds your shooting.... advice would be to set a board up at 200 and see whats happening... but your looking around the 2 to 2 1/2 inch mark, in the .243 depending on velocity, and bullet weight of course. Good luck with it. Snap. Quote Link to post

Snap. snap shot iv been hopeing you would come in to this topic for good advice, as i said i bought the gun saturday brand new! the gun dealer asked what i would be shooting! i said fox and roe fallow ect and he said to use 100 grain so thats what i did, remington express core-lokt. Do you agree? or would a lighter grain bullet be better do you think Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
100g will be fine for the fallow, you can shoot foxy with them to if you dont wish to change the point of impact, however, i use either 58g max, or 87g v-max, the later been used for the most part now, if your allowed to use below 100g for the deer, i'd also really say the 95g sst will take fallow with ease providing you do your bit.... i take a note of the adjustment made for poi write it down and just reverse the clicks to re-zero for the lighter round.... never any trouble, switching bullets then... Any time you want drop me a line, only to glad to help. Snap. Quote Link to post
