Tried 2 abbatiors, 1 said 'we aren't aloud to give or sell public all the bits they throw away', the other said that the local hunt kennels have everything. Tried 4 butchers, 1 doesn't chop his own meat, 2 said no, the 3rd success! About an hour away from me and he said i can come down every week to pick it all up, got loads more butchers to try yet and will try landywoods, see how much it all comes to.

some kebab shops get thier chicken breasts with the bone still in,it may be worth asking for whats left once the fillet has been taken off,good luck

Personally I'd just take in a copy of the relevant piece of EU legislation which clearly shows that the general public (private individuals) are exempt from their legal requirements. That usually does the trick, some of them just genuinely think they're not allowed.

 

There's a letter from an MEP somewhere laying it out in plain English, I'll dig it out for you. I also got confirmation from DEFRA on this just last week.
