Rainmaker 7
Wow, this raw feeding lark really is hard work, isn't it? haha Good man Spike. Yes I know the area very well, we use an abattoir in Skem if you're up for going co-op with us? You can buy mince and get bones free (handy if you like feeding tripe) or can just buy bones outright. Give me a PM if you're interested mate. The butchers are ace for most stuff, but the abattoir has whole pigs feet, whole heads, etc as well. Cheers, Lee Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
:11: I'm just waiting to see what happens when the conglomerates hear about this little enclave we have going here! What's the bet's they'll send in some of their own boys, to do more professional jobs than our couple of anti's here are managing so far? Let's face it; Every single person who turns his back on their greasy, carcinogenic shit is a Life Time Customer of theirs down the pan! And each of those will be telling their friends and relatives! This talk will be costing the Dog Killers serious money! I reckon they'll be shoving their paid pocket vet's to come up with some more organised web sites of their own soon. They've Got To try and stop us! Let 'em f***ing try!!! Quote Link to post
Nipper 0
Ditch_Shitter the walls are closing in.... Up go the barriers of the closed mind. Why can't folk take the pros and cons out of any debate without getting paranoid Quote Link to post

jacko 1
hi, been feeding mine rmb for a week now , asked me mam to get me some chicken wings and some lamb ribs, so she went to our local butchers (were from anfield liverpool ) and the butcher said he didnt know you could get lamb ribs ,basicaly as soon as he found out we wanted meat for the dogs he didnt want to know . we will sack him of now . we got an order of Landywoods last week ,but it was our first order and we just didnt get enough, landywoods only deliver once a month so i will make sure we get enough next time. the dogs love it (3 borders 1 jack) but ive overfed the jack , supose it will take a few weeks to sort the right amounts out. jacko Quote Link to post
spike 0
Jacko Keep trying mate, they can only say no. Look in the Yellow Pages or Yell.com. I have been into around 6 - 8 butchers in last few days with around 50% success rate; some look at you like you are some kind of tit & tell you what your dog can & can't have, if they won't accept it - no problem, their loss. Those who are happy to help have just gained a new customer for their everyday wares. Don't give up Quote Link to post
jacko 1
hi, thats what weve found , the butcher told me he wouldnt give me chicken carcasses cos the dogs would choke on the bones . our vet is a mate of me dads and he came to ours yesterday to give 2 of the dogs there booster jab , so me mam said we had changed over to meaty bones and he didnt seem to know what she was on about ,so if the vet doesnt know the sketch on RBM'S then i cant expect the butcher to . landywoods are sound but its hard to know how much to order at first . dads getting me a freezer this week ,so i will stick it down the cellar and stock up . jacko. Guest savageboy
Well i never thought i would be doing this! BUT Rainmaker has inspried me, i feel awful feeding them dry, now i've read the facts. I'm going to phone around tomorrow and ask plenty of butchers etc for all their waste and start. My daughter has already started with her 2 dogs, she went to the supermarket and bought 10 chicken wings for £1.40. Now she wants to know if this sounds right. She measure how much dry food she gives them and then measured the wings out the same. The lurcher weighs 29kg and measures out 2 chicken wings, the borzoi weighs 33kg and measures 3 chicken wings, does this sound right as it looks abit too little a portion. Thanks in advance. hi matey , i have bought skye my collie greyhound up on a mixture of both , and she looks well . in a morning she has rice and tuna mixed with beta greyhound, then later she as chicken wings, and her last meal is a lamb bone , there is loads of meat on them , she is a cracking eater , and is very energetic when she out , plus she as the mad 10 min,s running round in the garden like somthing gone stupid. this last month i have slightly changed her diet , in the morning as now i feed my rotties what she has and they are in exerlent condition, they shine brill . i mix one cup of superdog tripe mixer in with a big measure of beta greyhound , then add a chinese tub full of rice and tuna, and the crust of a loaf. me dog,s go wild for it . next meal chicken wings, plus i feed me ferrets on chicken wings as well as rabbit,s crow, pigieon,s and a ferret dry mix , now i get me chicken wings off a butcher for 50p a bag and there is about 20 in , cheap or what . she a bones about every other day. cheers savageboy Quote Link to post
