silentshot1 206
Hi all After missing a few easy shots on Saturday, much to my own annoyance. I went to re zero the scope which gave me really tight groups at 30 meters, so I figured it was me. Before I went out again, I re charged the gun to the recommended 190 bar and had another couple of shots. It took 8 - 10 shots falling an inch and a half below, before the pellets begun to rise and hit the bull with the expected accuracy. I've read on here that the first couple of shots can be a bit under pressure, but 8 - 10? Is this normal and if so, is there a way of lessening the amount of under pressure shots or should I simply accept this and learn to adjust my aim for the first 8 shots? Thanks for any advise! stealthy1 3,964
Try blowing your gun up to 180 and see what happens, my HW100 is the same, at 180 its bang on Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
hi ss i have AAS410K .177 & .22 there sweet point is between 160bar down to 105bar, this may vary on different models only by about 10bar though.try filling to 160bar and take it down to 100bar and see if this improves accuracy! the only time i fill to 190bar is for plinking.otherwise its just a waste of air, always fill to 160bar when on vermin control hope this helps! regards davy Quote Link to post

sibaldib 6
I agree with Davy on this - fill to a lower pressure. I have found on my AA S400 Classic in .22 that 175bar is a good fill pressure to start at. I have just acquired a .177 TDR so will have to start experimenting again. Cheers Sib Quote Link to post
