zini 1,939
Hi Tony, Im really glad to see that you are back on here as i was starting to think that something had happened to you old friend. Mate i can promise you this 100% now all of the footage on the new DVD is newly shot and if you saw something that you thought was on the old DVD it was either put on by mistake when i made the short 10 minute clip or it was in the same area and looked like the same thing IE the rooks on the ligts etc, but they are all new deaths friend in the same area. I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 Ultimate a couple of days ago and then found out that the movie maker in that is different from the one in Vista and it wouldnt except my vista saved project file so i just used some stuff from the laptop in vista. Im sure what i put on is no mistake though and just looks the same. I need some more bunnies for the new DVD but Chris and wuzzy are coming up at the weekend i think so i should get some footage of them boys whacking bunnies and ill steal the footage and put it into the new DVD Si Edited January 12, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Newbie, Yes i have used a .177 in the past. I only shoot .22 now at the moment until my new donated gun arrives in a couple of days time from VenomViper. I have seen lads on this forum shoot with a .177 and kill just as quick with a .177 than any .22. Its all about shot placement. Both calibre are just as good as each other. If you can shoot you can shoot and will kill at range humanely Si Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Hey bud, I wasn't picking fault mate I've not seen your 1st one yet until I can raise the brass and your churning em out faster than I can save up I was just going by what you said about seeing some of it before in your original post Yeah, I've been away for a bit and when I have tried to get on a few times the database has been down Sadly something has happened which has kept me away from my guns and away from here, but I wont go into details. I'm really hoping to get out soon with the guns and batter some bunnies and cap my 1st corvid. My permission to shoot at the Cemy is up for review and I've not even taken my gun up there since before xmas, so I need to get up there and commit Genocide of the Cony kind or is it Bunniecide I may even set up a video camera from my sniping points and have a go at recording my kills (you and Davy are to blame if anyone asks ) Take care buddy Phantom Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
No problems Tony pal, i feel better now. I thought that some old footage had snuck in my mistake to the 10 minute trailor. Most of the footage on the new dvd i have already put on here in dribs and drabs for the regulars on here to look at mate. Im sending you a PM buddy. NEWBIE1980 0
Thanks for the reply , I was wandering had you taken 60M birds with a 177 as in the DVD Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
No Newbie pal, I have never shot anything so far with a sub 12FP rifle in .177. I have shot a 63m bunny with my old stealth 2000 years ago when old with my cousin, taken a 57m magpie in the first DVD and a 55m crow in the second DVD both with .22 calibre. As ive already said both calibres are deadly if shot properly and the rifle is in the right hands of a good shot. I know a couple of .177 lads in here who are my friends, Reggaeman, Davy who would put money on would humanely kill birds at 55 metres with their .177 combos, just because they are both mint shots. Reggaeman is probably the best shot i know and would outshoot many of the so called pro hunters out there by miles. I have shot a 45 metre woody in the brain with my Weihrauch HW95k that ive now sold and wish i never did. That was in .177. Zini Edited January 12, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi Paul, Glad that you like the footage buddy. Ref getting a BSA R10 mate, they are top rifles and I couldn’t recommend them enough pal. For me it’s the best rifle I have ever owned by far buddy. I’m not saying it’s the best rifle out there. I’m just saying for me it’s the best due to the feel, balance, point ability and accuracy plus some good old memories of nice shots with it. I don’t think that you will be disappointed with it pal and wish you all the best when you get it. The scope cam is something I made myself pal. It’s a normal video camera attached to my scope. Here is a demo of one being assembled from a man on here called Davy who is a friend of mine and excellent shot. Look at the footage and you will see how we made our scope cameras. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=135398 Si Quote Link to post
