Hi,

 

I am going to buy a new air rifle. Had an HW77 for years and thought it was a great gun. Been out the game for a few years now and wanted to check opinions on here before purchasing anything.

 

1. What's the best spring Air Rifle on the market between £300-£400? (I'm thinking the Weihrauch HW97K Mk II?)

 

2. What do folks prefer .22 or .177?

 

3. Any preference for a decent scope (hunting only), had Tasco Golden Antler 4x40's and liked them before? Do you like adjustable scopes 3-9x40's etc or are there advantages to just having fixed?
