jasper65 6
Just a few over the last few days when I could get out! the last single Pigeon picture was shot this morning from the landing window! he was sitting eating Ivy Berries behind the aviaries and probably the best shot of the lot for distance! I won't say how far away he was as you won't beleive me , I gave him some hold over and he was hit about half inch under his chin through the neck bone..... Lets just say he was so high up the tree he had snow on his beak and wearing a oxygen mask cheers Jasper Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
I can see your getting the measure of your new gun Nice one stealthy! this guns lethal mate Honest. It takes a couple of shots to settle down after a charge but when its on song it will stick pellet on pellet, I zeroed it onto a small notch on the trunk of a Beech tree and its landing the pellets well within a circle the size of a penny through the 10 shots mag.... I'm more than made up with it stealthy and enjoying my own company again when out with the rifle! Its rekindled a old Hobby and given me another interest away from the birds .... one thing I'm a little disapointed with is the breach seal 0 Ring, it seemed to leak a bit when I first got it so I replaced it yet this one is doing the same now slightly ... Jasp hi ya buddy good shooting buddy whats the new gun then matey ? venomviper Its a Daystate Air Ranger mate! not realy any seriouse complaints at the moment as it shoots sweet as a nut! just fancy a slightly better scope.... Jasp Very nice jasp are they going to be bird food? atb John The two Pigeons in the pic was plucked that day and in the oven for tea mate , first Pigeons eaten for the new year and they went down a treat. the squirrel went to the Hawks and the last Pigeon hangs in the shed! If I get another soon they be destined for the pot .... Jasp Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
If it takes a couple of shots to settle when pumped up, try a little less pressure, my HW100 is the same, at 180bar its sound Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
hi jasper nice shooting! and pic's just like to say ,don't worry about telling us the distance at what you shot it at! it just proves that you can take a long shot and kill it clean! so well done on it. i do prefer along shot rather than a short shot! well done buddy regards davy Quote Link to post
jasper65 6
Nice one lads cheers I managed to knock over a couple more woodies today! one needed Necking after it was hit in the shoulder and the other was a better shot hitting him in the back of the neck... Not sure if any of you lads have had problems with Breach seals on your guns? this one has a small 0 Ring on the Pellet indexer! when I first got the gun it leaked like hell so I replaced it! this 0 Ring is now doing exactly the same .... It sounds stupid but when the gun is left standing over night it leaks worst but after a couple of shots it makes a better seal again? I'm not sure how much its effecting the power as I havn't got a chrono but I know when the guns uncocked I can blow air down the barrel which can be heard leaking past the 0 Ring..... Any advice would be apreciated Jasp Quote Link to post
