Iv got a hogan decimeater on my .22 rimmy. fairly new but touch wood, no problems yet.

Good marketing material, sounds good but actually says nothing of course, except designed for use on Air Rifles

 

If that has the acoustic wadding in it, I suggest it IS designed for air rifles ONLY!

Here's one on an air rifle.

Same type of internals as the QGS.

The DeciMeater proofed for rimfire, definitely has "stuffing" in it. It's described as fire resistant, milspec acoustic material. This can clearly be seen, through the threaded hole in my proof marked one. It looks ok, but has only had about 300 rounds through it. The material is wrapped around three slotted alloy tubular sections, to maintain shape. I think the price was about forty quid, same as the air gun version. Time will tell if it was a good buy!

it only weighs 262g or 9.24oz so its very light & very quiet got it from Brodford Stalker near chester le street co Durhah. cost £65.
