danebrewer10 6 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 HI all, i'm just wondering if any of you know who undertakes work on new Sako rifles like duracoating and bedding into synth stocks I've tried border barrels and rimfire magic (south yorkshire shooting supplies) and neither of them seem to do any of that.... plus, do you know if you can just buy a barreled action or do you have to buy the whole rifle? What you want is just about guaranteed to take in excess of a year to get (I jest you not) and cost a fortune! I assume you are talking centrefires, Sako make em pretty well to start with, but people obviously do work on them. If you want to play a lot then perhaps the Remingtons are worth a look, lots you can get and do to them..and going to cost a bit less than Sako too!! I know a man who can do anything you want on the engineering side in Basingstoke area, not sure about coatings though!! Quote Link to post
