sevy27 0 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 went out thursday night plenty snow on the ground only walked coupel hundread yards and seen a fox hundread and fifty yards away coupel of squeeks and came running striaght towards me one shot one dead dog fox. be a good tlime to go if there is snow on the ground they be getting a bit hungry Quote Link to post

activeviii 8 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 nothing at night here, normally one or two foxes on one patch but at the moment im seeing more in the middle of the afternoon, i cant take them as there's to many people sledging, thou farmer did say something about 50p a pop to me.hehe Phil. peeps_76 17 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 hi this is a great time of year up where i am for getting hares! i have had heaps of joy since just before xmass (1st snow fell and has been here since) till now with both white (mountain) and brown hares on 2 different permissions. a few bunnys about but not to many (good for snaring) and as for cold killing off rabbits. when its this bad everything will be struggling and thinning out! regards and happy hunting.
