i have a lurcher dog of 5 who had one of his testicles retained as a pup, at 7 months i had it pulled down and stitched into the correct area, the vet said it would'nt grow, not to breed from it either, the testicle did develope into the same size as the other, he has also sired a litter of pups, the only thing i would say is, either get the corrective surgery , or castrate it, cos in the long term the dog WILL develop cancer in that area .-------------atb---den
