Jamie m 668 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 hi all i got a jill a couple of months ago shes a craker but a bit nippy she was the last one to go so she had become a bit ignored by the bloke its not a bite as such any advise on how to kerb this my old ferrets were spot on i could put my finger in there mouths no probs guna breed off her and get the young how i want them do you think she will grow out of this nipp or will it allways be there cheers Quote Link to post

festa 206 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 mate try this i got this advice off an old timer and works brilliant plenty of meat (rabbit if poss) handle as much as poss and go buy some jif lemon juice (they type you put on your pancakes) before you do anything rinse your hands in the lemon juice and when you handle your ferts they might nip or even just lick your hands the taste of the lemon will put them off biting or nipping when they get used to you or stop nipping stop using the lemon juice ...and bingo hope it helps mate atb gary Quote Link to post
