Guest Ash
I was talking to lad the day that told me it was easy shooting deer so i thought is this what every one thinks. ps he aint ever shot one and admits to only seeing deer run across the road. SO a nice wee pic i took the other day the deer is about 160 yards away and could hardley be seen with the naked eye. SO MAKING THE DECISION IS IT A DOE OR BUCK ARE THEY IN SEASON IS THIS A CULL ANIMAL SOULD BE DONE AT THIS DISTANCE. so is it a doe or buck? and di you think it is a cull beast and if so why or if not why not. ? FOXHUNTER 5,021
its difficult to judge from the pic....................but it looks like a roe doe to me,I cant see any antlers and I think I can see its anal tush.If I had my bins I would be able to tell no problem Quote Link to post
Guest reload
Good thread wireviz I spent a fair while stalking this roe tother day to see wether it was a doe or buck cos i forgot my monocular. Only to findout twas a doe, but good practice all the same!! View from tother side of the valley View after stalking and crawling through hedges and tip toeing like a injun Quote Link to post
Guest Ash
The first thing is the picture is already been looked at through bins foxy thats the view i had through the bins. Dont know the make or magnification of yours but there 7xs and free hand held thats enough for me mate. Even zoomed in in the last picture its hard. So here gose that was a doe a big pregnant doe In the same picture just in front of the doe but still in the picture was two yearlings one doe and one buck. The buck is now in the freezer and it took me a while to decide what was in front of me and [bANNED TEXT] to shoot the three moved and passed each other quite a few times. Some times even in a field they aint easy thts what makes it a sport i think. Quote Link to post
