joe85 1
i think catching it would b more of the problem if 1 was put to the beddy whippetcross i think they would give it all as ive seen alot of bull cross and deerhound cross turning the head but i think the greyhound beddy cross would b the ticket a bit more size with them terrier blood in any lurcher will add a bit of fire to them only my opinion Quote Link to post

As for size, in theory it will take more stick, but in reality, a little dog cant play with a fox the way a big dog can, therefore if its to succeed it HAS to get a good hold and keep it. JMO on the dogs i have seen work. Ideally though your looking at the wrong dog if you want a fox dog Quote Link to post
Top Lamper 2k10 169
i had beddy whippet before and was game as f**k but i never got the chance to give him a fox but i reckon they would do 1 lyk plus if a terrier can i think a beddy whippet can atb Quote Link to post

Personally mate i would be looking for a heavier cross like the bull wheaten or deerhound, these are will withing the comfort zone on foxes and dispatch a fox sometimes on impact or very quick, less stress for quarry and the dog is less likely to take any punishment! the bullcross man 6
i seen a beddy wippet catch 3 pre ban and 1 was on his own and the other 2 were wid another dog so it depends on the dog and how you train them mate Edited February 3, 2010 by the bullcross man Quote Link to post
