Lines depend what you want cornstalk oakbark etc are some decent show lines laguna one of the more popular racing lines we have a mixture of oakbark cornstalk nimrodel avismar cobeyco an old coursing bred bitch and the wee black dog is virtualy all down from laguna stuff mots people prefer a sertain lines but there are differences in most of them and after a few years looking into the breed you can tell them apart alot have greyhound in the blood and are big dogs 22" and over i would never look twice at such a dog with kc papers its just people trying to add speed and size to there line not my kettle of fish the bwra game is diff they are breeding for speed and dont try to sugar coat it by hanging peds on dogs as i said horse's for corse's if its a big whippet you want go with a bwra at least you know what you are actualy getting .

thanks very much, the blue dog is Bred by Darren Young, out of Enya and Supablue, supa blue is sone of Mikes Sooty sam, he come out a nice size and took after Blue who was only 19" som am really happy with him.

He is a nice wee size coming on well like the ratting piks its surprising how good they are at the rats they love it .

 

had a look at him on the archives seen dogs out some of the ones in his line he looks like some size of a dog , like the brindle and white dogs on his ped .

 

i am anything but an expert but hear enough about the breed 3 times a day on walks all weekend ferreting and lamping and when i aint doing that i am on the net reading about them some of the dogs at the kc shows nowadays are monsters they seem to favour big dogs i was at a kennel not long ago with kreet there were 32 dogs at the boys place all kc whippets from top lines and the vast majority of them were 22" or a touch bigger the smallest bitch the lad had was 21" he said its the way that side of the breed is going it is mad menatal the diff shapes and size's between the lines .

p.s how do you work out kreet is a peddler anyway he aint sold anything on here since you joined :S i aint his best mate but when someone is decent with you your decent with them how anyone from the other end of the country can know anything about someone 500 miles away its beyond me ...

my dog is 18.5", the bitch is 16.5" they both take everything , obviously sometimes its better to double them up, but both have taken everything single handed.The bitch is mainly Oakbark and the dog Nevedith
