higgins 75
can i use a ferret finder for foxing or do i need to get a terrier one thanks atb conshie Deben do a terrier finder 16 ft and a 40 ft one,the 16 ft is same as a mk3 ferret set i believe, you could use any of them just put the locator on a longer collar for the terrier, Higgins Quote Link to post

higgins 75
yes they all do the same thing it doesn't make a difference what animal it's on, but for a terrier the longer range would be better, Higgins Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
it was a while before i could get my barryvox pulse kit sent out from america. So i resulted to my mk3 ferret finder and shit loads of rape tape. It is ok for a in-between, but i would recomend you save up and get a decent set up (if nothing else, get a deben terrier locator coller). Cheers FTB. dillan 19
I bought the deben 3 ferret set and an additional ferret collar, enabling me to enter 2 ferrets when I went ferreting. Once I mastered the new box I went on to purchace 2 terrier collars that had a smaller strap and buckle riveted to the main collar for a fiver a piece. This enabled me to use the same transmitters for ferret and dogs to good effect, after all Ive yet to have a 16 foot dig to render it useless in my area. Quote Link to post
