every morning I replace the water in the drums.I have cut down barrells full of water but it freezes so hard the water has 3 inches of ice formed on top, when you break it the water is so low to the end I just have to replace it.Every evening I give the dogs hot pasta and let the water it was boiled in a container.they drink it all and keeps em warm.I also have them beded down in copious ammounts of straw. They are keeping their weight so is a good indicator they are managing well.i think once they have water added to their grub theres no fear of them at all.Just to add, pasta in Lidl is 50 cent a 500 gram packet.Very cheap and the sardines are 37 cent a tin.Cheap and when added with tripe an egg and water couldnt get better.

i know it was meant as a joke but stupid thing to put on here because there are some who wouldnt know how lethal it is to dogs tiny drop can kill them i think it would be better to delete it in case someone reads it and actually tries it . what i do and it helps is put some electrolite i use for the greyhounds in their water and it takes longer to freeze .
