MACRORIE 1
Noticed alot of threads about the best boots or wellies and am wondering what's yous preffer i.e. Boots or wellies and why? My personal prefferance is for a good old pair of wellies, can't beat them for warmth and keeping the old tootsies dry in those long cold wet nights lamping! Atb Darren Quote Link to post
samearl14 11
Cant beat wellies for warmth? What wellies have you got?! But to be fair i mainly wear my neoprene wellies and they are pretty warm but i find boots more comfortable if its gonna be a long day. Atb Sam Quote Link to post

andrew mark 21 12
nike air trainers lol Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
Depends what im doing or where I am going but if I had to chose one it would be wellies as they are a little more versatile. Although boots with good gaiters you can even quickly enter water without it getting through. Quote Link to post

JohnGalway 1,043
Wellies for me now. I like boots an awful lot, but got sick of shelling out when I'd kill a pair. Cheapies are no good, either uncomfortable or not waterproof and the real good ones are just ridiculous money. I stick to my Muck Boot wellies now. Though I may be on the look out for boots for summer time. Most of the year I'm traipsing through bog after either sheep or foxes, can't beat wellies to keep you dry through that. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Open fields its wellies for me if its muddy, woodland or an area where there's plenty of sharp stuff to puncture my wellies, then boots are my first choice every time Quote Link to post
