lukeM51 1
are micro ferrets good for beginners, and how small are they. and why do they say they dont kill, are they too small to kill? micro ferrets wont kill as easy as a big heavy ferret. rabbits wont bolt when YOU are making all the noise above ground so there size doesn't matter really because its up to you! you should get a couple of ferrets at different sizes and see what works for you! Quixote 9
the rabbit usualy kicks them off Perfect reason not to breed them then, I would've thought!? Quote Link to post
RaiderBoy 19
i think micro ferrets are just another fad at going on at the moment, nothing wrong with a small to medium sized jill i have a small jill maybe just 25-30cm from head to tail never killed to ground and has 10 times the stamina of any micro ferret. but thats just the way i see it just dont be put down if your charged 40-50 quid for one Atb Richard Quote Link to post
night moocher 41
micro ferrets mouth same size as a stoat i guess and they handle rabbit ok,i cant see the gameness bred out of them because a ferret is a ferret no matter what size. Quote Link to post
