tote 856
Anybody watching the darts on the bbc? If so what do you make of the commentators, surely the worst commentators i've ever heard, i'd rather watch it with the volume off than listen to the dross they talk. Last night one of them dropped a right clanger, during one of the games the cameraman zoomed in on Tony O'shay who was sitting in the audience having just won his match. He is known as "silverback" and has a soft toy monkey as a mascot, when O'shay noticed the camera on him he started patting the mascot. What do you think one of the commentators said? There's Tony O'shay who won earlier tonight, he's sitting there stroking his monkey. Talk about foot in mouth.

longdogbow 12
i forgot i want to ask anyone who plays darts a question.coz the old guy i mentioned cant answer it as he only got one good eye. right when i aim and shoot a arrow on the bow im right handed and right eye dominant.so i aim like you would a rifle with left eye closed but dont use sights so point on end of arrow is on target what im shooting at. but when watchin darts they all seem to have both eyes open.but if i have a game with the son and i keep both open.darts are all over the place.close my left eye and im alot better? now i must think that my brain eye arm is conditioned to this from about the last 10 years of shooting bows.but like a said just wanted to ask a regular dart player about it.? gnasher16 30,279
Any " world champion " darts player aint a world champion darts player till he beats the best player who ever picked a dart up..... adams or chisnall wouldnt beat Phil Taylor in a month of sundays. Winning the bdo darts is the equivalent of winning the championship footie... And as for that mug bobby george....what an embarrassment !.....its time the bdo let go of the tiny bit of history their desperately trying to hang on to and let Barry Hearn run the show. runforyourlife 361
Is that not surposed to make it all the more entertaining, the commentators. relax and enjoy it, they are not pros at commentating, they are just guys out of the pubs who where good at darts. Chill and enjoy, jesus we'll rip into anything...
