Guest Daks Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 recovered it yesterday , more chew !! do me a favour and take me a pic of the wheel in question preferably with the wheel off, i am hoping the hub bolts to the disc as it means its easier to sort out and you wont have to strip the auto locking hub etc etc, the studs aint that expensive i have a mate works for ford il get him to price you some up as he gets a good discount or just goto the scrappy and get some, proper shite when this crap happens!!! if i remember rightly this problem is usually caused by people overtightening the wheel nuts,stretching the threads and weakening the metal over time they wear and then snap like yours has ...atb daks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
