hughes_jh 0
Which vermin, which range? Also, what do you need clarification on, calibre/weight/brand/shape/etc? Personally I do all of my hunting (rabbits, pigeons, rats) with .22 domed pellets (Air Arms Field Diablo or H&N Field Target Trophy) and I have no complaints Quote Link to post
Edgar 1
What ever pellet is most accurate in your rifle. Try as many different types of pellet as you can. Every rifles different and some will prefer different ammunition to others of the same make. I use accupells. Don't bother with cheap ones as they aren't usually much good with some deformed pellets in the tin. Ones I can recommend are Accupels, RWS super domes and hobbys. Pointed pellets aren't usually any good as they tend to drill through quarry with out imparting much shock, round headed pellets are good all rounders, flat heads can be very accurate. Hollow points are can be good at short ranges but aren't always the best at longer ranges. Each pellet type will have a different trajectory so once you have found some you like stick to them.
