Annmarie09 5
I tried to get one since boxing day with no joy anywhere, including online. I was moaning about it to a friend who has a hawk and ferrets and she said she had found one a couple of years back at a park, put up a notice with her contact details and took it home but no one claimed it so she gave it to my wee boy. We have a lovely steep hill at the stables. I don't think the horses are too impressed though! I would never have guessed my mate would have a sledge as she has no young kids but the topic just came up in conversation. So ask around, you never know who might have one lying around that they don't need! My brother has a couple of those inflatable ones like mushroom said, but they are round, and they do go like stink! He can fit on it with one of his kids and the added weight makes it go even faster.
