longdog13 36
well, out again. Back to the orchard to pick up the stragglers from the open warrens Well, that was the plan at least, got there for 9ish, netted the first three small warrens and there was not a thing at home Onto the next, via some unwalked areas, found Brocks front door in amongst the rabbit holes so had to give that a miss, that's one mustelid i didn't fancy handling! We done a small, three holer, turned out to be a long deep warren in disguise After entering Jamies hob, we left him to settle into things then located him at just over 3'. Thick clay and Flint! so nearly two hours later and a 5' trench we finally got our prize and back ache, again! We decided to try the other holes on the off chance, before back filling Turned out a good idea with another two in the bag in under a min Then LUNCH Back to the next small warren with my jill for a quick easy bolt, no digging here, and she bolted the meanest looking Buck i've ever seen, This is his blind side, he had a shrunken blue eye, been burst at some point, with scar laden nose So, just four hard earned rabbits this time.
