Gun cabinets

Hi all im going to apply for my fac and sgc but im just wondering about what cabinets to get.

 

Do i need to get one for ammo and one for the guns or can i just get one with the locking safe inside fo the ammo?

brattensound rifle cabinet with safe inside is fine for FAC and SGC i have a 9 gun and its full with 6 guns in it dont know where they get 9 from maybe 6 and 3 pistol ha ha they also deliver if bought direct

You can top to toe them so they stand on end fit alot more in this way

brattensound rifle cabinet,spot on,i use a seperate safe for my ammo and bolts,a lot easier as the,built in ones are not that big,oki doki,ian

I bought a BSA one in the end, was on offer from sportsmanguncentre. The ammo safe is a bit tight (same as in the Brattonsound) but it's fine for a .22LR bolt and ammo, if I had something bigger (centrefire) I might need an extra ammo safe.

 

Don't forget you need the deep one if you want to keep scoped rifles in there.

 

I much preferred the look of the BSA one as it comes in British Racing Green, rather than Battleship(Primer) Grey. FEO was more than happy with it.

Hi,

 

I don't want to step on anyones toes but I shopped around when I bought my new FAC safe about 12months ago. A locksmith mate of mine suggest www.discountsafes.co.uk and I could not find anyone cheaper. I bought the 10 gun safe from Burton for £295 its a really good bit of kit with an amo locker in the top. The firearms officer actually said it was one of the best one he had seen recently its totally solid.

 

I hope I haven't offended anyone
