great pictures i,ve just been directed to this and i'm hoping you havn't sold the one with the whippet and terriers as there my dogs and would love a copy

Hi Terriermaid, Im afraid that ones gone. ( I will do you another one with pleasure should you so wish )

From what was just a simple post showing a few pictures of bits and bobs that Im interesteted in, I've had loads of requests for work.

To be honest I've never done a commission drawing for anyone but I think form the kind responses and requests I've had, I going to start to!

Thanks to all that have email me. What I am suggesting is that if you would like picture doing, email me a picture to see......Ive currently got at least 12 to do, and they take me a couple of days to do each. Once completed, Ill send a emailed copy back to the purchaser for approval. If they like it we'll sort out the obvious and necessary. If not, it will go into my portfolio.

Once again, Many thanks

ok technical question, how do you apply the coffee to the paper, do you pour it and wipe it with a finger or tissue, or do you use a brush? i really like the style of drawing and would love to try and recreate it. congratulations on some stunning pictures.

Hi mate....I draw and shade the image in pencil putting perhaps 70% of the tone on, then simply using coffee in a plastic cup form the vending machine at work, and one on the plastic stirers (turned upside down) i apply the coffee....because of the serated design of the stirer, i find that when i dip the same in the coffefe, it holds it in the shaft, and layers on the paper almost like an old fashion quill......... I find the mocha choca late (or number 2 with sugar) gives the best tones!!! lol
