It would be nice to have an update on working borders, I mean real work, not bushing and ratting etc. I work borders in Sweden on badger and fox. Hard to find decent workers but me and a couple of friends try to make the small percentage of the working ones to carry on. Please put a pic up if you have one. Cheers! /Fred Quote Link to post

Nice pics! Do you have KC-registered BT’s? Where I live there’s plenty of badgers so I spend most my time hunting badgers but now and then a fox gets in front of my terriers but that’s most common between dec-feb. How’s your BT’s staying power? I think most terriers have enough hardness but the majority lacks in prey drive and ability to work on their own for as long as it takes. Cheers! Quote Link to post

Chancer 23 Posted January 16, 2010 Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 i must admit with you fella WORKING borders are few and far between very hard to get a decent one i once owned a border x lakeland and the bitch was a joy to have in my yard very good on fox and had an excellent nose.the last i heard she was still doing foxes at the age of 13, i have been trying to look out some old pics..not got any good uns of her.. hopefully you find what your looking for, yis chancer Quote Link to post
