just woundered if anyone been there what a place

 

i love it been there 2 times in the last 4 years fishind in the daiwa masters

but the fishing has seemed to drop off

 

anyone else found this out

The fishing dropped off as they had a problem with KHV i believe, used to be great yrs ago but not been down that way for a good 7 yrs

yh the last time i was there was when we had really hot summer

fish not gettin enough oxygen and dieing

 

and my mate went last year and sed it was crap so just woundered

Also it depends when you go as it gets absolutely hammered in summer and over baited big style by the visitors. Cheees, D

That's the one mate. Used to sell stuff into there some years back and had a mooch round the lakes every Monday morning. Haven't fished it for a few years though.

i think the tactics dwn there nw is an all out f1 approach most of the lumps seem to have vanished into thin air. they need to do something drastic to completly get rid of the problem like they did at gwinear lovely surroundings to fish in dwn ther especially on that acorn lake

My late wife and I stayed there in 1994,fishing was poor then,and most of the lakes were only for matches,we wanted to fish the two new ones that had been dug only to be told it was matches only.but,over the road from Whiteacres is another lake which is part of the same complex,something a lot don't know about,and it fishes(or should i say it fished)well.
