Coyotehunter 689
Thanks for the welcome lads, the collars are tracking collars, you can get some pretty big points on coyotes and if a hound gets spun out then its a lot easier to find them with a tracking collar on, it just takes a little time before you hunt putting on the collars and writing down the frequency numbers Quote Link to post

Buch 145
Hi mate nice looking hounds. Not knowing much about em what kind of hounds are they? From what ive read on some of the other coyote threads they can be abit tough to handle for a single dog and your houndss dont look massive do they manage ok? How big are your hounds? O and what part of Canada are you from cause ive spent abit of time in Alberta with work. Cheers mate. Quote Link to post
Coyotehunter 689
Buch, our hounds vary in size i have Doghounds that top 100lbs and some more like 60 or 70lbs and bitches slightly less, the lads your talking about could be running Walker hounds that resemble Harriers, some would be lucky to be 40lbs and might be struggling to tackle a full grown Coyote, on a quiet day i'd take out 14 couple so generally when they catch up with a coyote it all happens very quickly .
