whin 463 Posted February 19, 2010 Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 he is anice dog got tons of photos of them coyote hounds and my own scottish deerhound cross away back in the early eighties ,only problemwe had with them in september running the stubble with old jeep they could heat up ,and had to be watched , very popular cross until plummmer and there likes came about, i remeber august the 6 trotting at musselburgh several traveling lads had staghound crosses dark brindle and bluey grey , good dogs the scottish deerhound crosses on the moors were they were bred for, no finer site than a guy coursing with two with his kilt over the moors with yin hill pony caereing the beast doon the hill , therea book called the romance of poaching a bit about scottishdeerhounds and there type Quote Link to post

asha 48 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 hi there we have very strong deerhoundghdx from doxhope we have a first cross bitch and dog, which were bred far enough apart so ensuring that we could then go on and breed them, we then kept a bitch pup from the litter. and friends pup is doing really well on field at 11mths , we have held ours back like to give her time too mature.
