My pup is a genuine 1st x, Doxhope Knights Errant x Rivington Eva; and she is rough coated. Cheers.

You won't regret getting this cross. Don't work it hard too early, let it mature slowly. Good nose, feet and easy on the eye as well.

i run a second x on she good al rounder sound with my terriers,shes 28tts jumps well al deer hounds r nattural retreivers she brings things back that i some times dont want her too aswell:whistling: a bit ov a pack leader she thinks trys to dominate my uva dogs but no agresion to wards them av add 2 now an a dont think she will b my last cheers

I used to take one out for a chap in the 70s a big steel grey couloured dog at 32tts it run at draks and won some shows rebel he was called even though he was an average dog he did produce some outstanding pups the once he was bred to a small collie/grey.atb dell

 

 

I SAW A DEERHOUND CROSS WIN DRAX ONCE .... BELONGED TO A VERY GOOD MATE ... NAMED R.B.

Nice looking pup matie, there was a line of deehound crosses that stood out among this cross more than any of the other that produced them..and that pup definately has Doxhope in it.. :thumbs:

used to be a few good scottish deerhound crosses about and pure i think there was some good ones of ardinglass strain are they still about , a freind of mines imported one years ago early seventies he killed coyotes with it and unluckly he told me it had alikeing for deer and got run over , to they still have scottish deerhounds working they used to have coursing contests the ban gave that away very popular cross in the seventies and eighties all the local lads had them deerhoundy with atouch of collie they were canny dogs , rarely see them now to think scotland made this bred and every other country has them and what they were bre for well thtas history ,
