WHEN DOES EVERYONE STOP HUNTING FOR THE SEASON DOES EVERYONE STOP EARLY OR LATE

 

The seasons seem to be getting shorter and shorter, seen a 3/4 grown leveret on 15th November and a bunny that was no bigger than your hand on 6th December, so who knows

 

 

Some rabbits haven been found to ovulate and breed all year round, so it sint unusual to find small rabbits milling around....

 

Ialso hunt from september to september! pest control is an year round thing. I understand people who just do it for a hobby, stop at a certain time, as they dont like to kill game stuff with young. That is a reasonable reason...

 

And i think, even if i wanted to stop myself hunting, i couldnt... My dogs are fit as feck, and thats the way i like them to stay...

What a load off balls dont stop what a joke thats its go out kill all the young for the coming year then come on here and talk about not getting big bags or have not seen much about prop because your out in the summer killing the young what a bunch off :bye: my season is sep till feb then thats is the dogs get rested and the young rabbits hares and foxes all get a chance till grow .

I really think this comment is bollox, has anyone actually said the species they hunt/work?

If you say to a farmer, "No i wont work your rats, rabbits", don't you think he really cares, if his crop is being mullard, seed being contaminated, whatever else it is that pisses him off, it's our responsibility to sort it out. Don't you think?

yea i do kill cubs if i come across them on my patch, they do grow up to be a fox believe it or not and yes they also can do alot of damage when they are at a young age, yes i go rabbiting all summer, them young uns still grow up and eat crops, yes i do go out and kill every rat i come across, would you leave a rat because it was summer and had young in its belly ? ?

 

hares i have no interst in them with dogs anymore, i keep the wrong type of dogs for that game, and as for giving hunting a bad name then you couldnt be more wrong,

 

i never ring the old bill to let them know am out, and last night was the 1st night in 10years of hunting/lamping/mooching e,t,c i got pulled by the fuzz, the officer see my face then realised and drove of wishing us good luck,

 

good for you on being able not to hunt during the summer, obviously you doing a much better job than me, credit to you, , i do what is nessary, am not on your patch or anywere near you so what your problem is i dont know,
