LOST DOG -- AYRSHIRE

Recommended Posts

Just writing to ask anyone in the ayrshire area and further to please look out for a red lakeland dog.

He was last seen in his kennel on Christmas eve, possibility he jumped out, or was lifted, we dont know yet.

He is 2 years old, answers to the name SUMO, and has a very distinguishable coat (very tough wire haired).

We think he escaped and has been picked up, as there was a russel dog in the kennel also who is still here.

The police have been informed but have had nothing handed in.

He is short coupled, very muscular boxy shape, unmistakeably a working terrier.

Any help very much appreciated to retrieve this good dog, he was just coming on nicely and the owner is devastated.

The dog is missing in Stewarton, but could be anywhere if picked up.

Any info, please contact me through PM and be vigilant if you are offered a terrier. Thanks. FTB

Have phoned all the local police stations, SSPCA, dog warden and kennels in the area and nothing matching the description has been handed in.

Have come to the conclusion that he was either lifted from the kennel or lifted off the street. I will keep looking and keep my ear to the ground, but what a horrid thing to do on christmas day, shocking.

He will have been pinpointed as he is a right good looker for the showing (doesnt interest me in the sligtest).

The dog doesnt belong to me, i only work it as much as i can for a very good friend.

Thanks to all the support and please dont accept any red lakeland dog offered if it seems suspicious.

Cheers FTB

Big county, you have a PM .
