Good little plinker, but only about 5 ft/lb IIRC. Stick with the Webley!

My Lad has the Shadow RSV, knocked down many a rabbit etc with it, but tends to use the rimfires and shotguns more now.

 

He got his about 3 or 4 years back and we tried all sorts of pellets, the best we could do in the end was around 10.5 ft lb.

 

Bottom line is, HE wanted this gun...in truth, because he thought it looked a bit smart (a bit like my synthetic rimfires and centrefires).

 

Anyway, they are OK, but a Webley Xocet is a better gun all day from what I can see.

 

If you are not happy with yours I would suggest spending the money on a bit of servicing/tuning and not buying a Gamo!

have a think about these

 

1 fitting a gas ram

2 bonnie and clyde spring top hat etc

3 a v-mach spring kitt

 

all will make ur gun feel brand new

i would look into the gas strut tho mate very little recoil

I have a Gamo 177 gas ram side lever target rifle and it is an extremely potent weapon albeit a tad on the heavy side but with a 3x9x50 bushnell on it it is deadly accurate.

I have one with a gas-ram fitted that I must admit I don't use too often and always seems to be 'on loan' to a mate, but it's a really good simple little gun that just keeps on doing it's job.
