Title says it all putting this on for a mate of mine who has lost his red bitch. He was walking up some rough ground to us yesterday afternoon and the bitch went missing in cover and never came back, he was out all night calling her with no sign. The area is in the Rawmarsh area in south yorshire near the back of the old steel works. I have attached a couple of photos and there are a couple in my gallery. Her name is Gem a 4 year old bitch, she is easy to identifiy as she has a dark patch on her side which was a birth mark about 2inch square... Anyone finds herplease pm as there will definatley be some type of reward. Were back out again in the morning trying to find her and doing the rounds of the kenels and trying to get in touch with the council dog warden as teh police dot get involved in any missing dogs lost or found ! ! ! be different if it was a feckin police dog! !

 

And just a big thanks to the Rother valley lads that came out for the day today walking the land trying to find her, on behalf of the mate many thanks lads was very much appreciatted even though the result didn't come yet....

Wich steel works was it aldwark i would inform the security theirs usualy foxes and rabbits laid up in the piles of scrap around their i would also check the railway lines nearby.I am not that far away i will keep an eye out or if i hear anything.Be carefull if shes been picked up and took to the pound in s.anston my mates old terrier was found and took their and some peice of scum had it through the back door.atb dell

Cheers for all the offers of help lads ... still nothing the mate has been out all day again today and put up a few posters around the houses in area... out tomorow with a couple of lurchers.. the steel works at the back of the Asda but further over towards Rawmarsh end .. We live in hope!! Suprising how many local lads to us on this site...

Bitch found !!!! Thank f4ck ...after nearly 3 days to ground the bitch was found by her litter brother in an earth, shes a bit thin but ok..Did nt find the quarry but the bitch had a few marks on her and stunk of old charlie, but who cares shes back.. Many thanks to the lads that have been out again today to help find her... A Happy new year all round

if this is the bitch i think it is i knew there was knothing to worry about i thought it would have been home before daylight hade gone due to it dosent like the dark it must of hade a streeet light shining down the hole
