Yappers all the way.. :clapper:

when you have a whippet that yaps the reason is frustration the dog may have been entered early or not able but if you enter them correctly and they catch early on i dont personaly think that there is a more loyal dog out there. mine is going from striength to strength was amazied 3 weeks ago my whippet is 19 inch to shoulder she slipped on a mooving rabbit at about 50 yards picked it up around 100 yards and retrieved to hand 13 months old i will never own another breed now does every thing i ask has tought me loads and lets my little girl ride her around the house

hello weedy started to race her as a puppy she was 31lb/32lb when racing.

started working when out with the terriers then on the lamp dug a fox a week before her first title win couldn't keep her away from it but still never yapped. was frowned upon by some other racers tho another really good dog was mo bex he used that in the field aswell i,ll post a pic if you want to see her that was pre ban of course

i have 2 they dont Yap, game little dogs, i took them both ratting on there first go these two whippet killed 62 rats in 1 hour, they got plenty of bits but soon learnt what to do, one is 2 1/2 years old and was enetered to lure coursing at 12 months and stated rabbiting at 14-16 months took him a while but obe he was catching he is doing grand, the other is a sooty sam line dog son of supa blue and was bred by darren young started taking hgim with me and the other dog from about 5-6months not running just watching and as he matured he did his own thing and caought his first at 7 months, form then he has gan from strenth to strength and catches well, both rats and rabbits, good nose and stamina so sofar so good am over the moon and he is now 13 months old.

have a look on workingwhippetforum.com and there are a few mwmbers who might sort you out with the write pup, one is Blackwhippet he has a litter due shortly, these are out and out working dogs, and also pennymeadow, he works and races and breeds for the best of both, and there is Darren Young who i got my second pup off.

Good luck Tom
