my mate recons you can use terriers for lamping

Ave caught a fair few years ago with a terrier i had, only about 10 odd inches as well.

Remember a terrier goes right in and searches even after out of site. :tongue2:

id imagine there wont be many lads that lamp rats regularly that havent taken the odd daft rabbit or even bolted a fox from somewhere when out at night but its a rare thing.thinking about it my terriers had a couple of jackdaws and a pigeon aswell. :clapper:

My brother's had some success lamping rabbits with a (slight and very quick) full English Bull Terrier so I don't see a reason why not. They will never be the best at it but that wasn't the question. If a Bull Terrier can do it I see no reason why a plummer or similar couldn't.
